Overview

The 19th Club is operated by Hemi Enterprises ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through The 19th Club mobile app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

The short version: we collect what you give us to run the service — your account, profile, posts, messages, and scores. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, we don't use third-party analytics, and we don't track your location.

Information we collect

Everything we collect comes directly from you:

• Account — your name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes; we never see or store your actual password.
• Golfer profile — details you choose to add, such as your handicap, home club, play style, interests, bio, and favorite courses.
• Content you create — tee time posts, group memberships, join requests, and messages you send to other golfers.
• Rounds and scores — courses, dates, scores, and game formats you record in the Scores feature.
• Waitlist signups — name, email, location, and favorite courses, if you join the waitlist on this website.
• Basic technical data — standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) needed to operate and secure the service.

What we don't collect

• No location tracking — the app never requests access to your device's location.
• No advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
• No access to your contacts, camera, or photos.
• No payment information — the app is free and does not process payments.

How we use your information

• To operate the service: creating your account, showing your profile and posts to other golfers, delivering messages, and tracking rounds.
• To communicate with you about your account or the service, including waitlist updates.
• To keep the service safe: preventing abuse, enforcing our Terms, and debugging problems.

What other members can see

The 19th Club is a social app. Your name, profile details (handicap, play style, interests, favorite courses, bio), and the tee times you post are visible to other signed-in members. Messages are visible to their recipients. Your email address and password are never shown to other members.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:

• With service providers who host our infrastructure (e.g. our hosting platform), solely to run the service.
• If required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of our members.
• As part of a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy will continue to apply.

Storage and security

Your data is stored on our servers in the United States. Passwords are salted and hashed, sign-in tokens are stored in your device's secure storage, and traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information with practices appropriate for the service.

Retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time in the app: go to the Me tab and choose Delete account. This immediately removes your account, profile, tee time posts, saved tee times, and message threads. You can also request deletion by emailing the19thclubapp@gmail.com from the address on your account. Some content may persist in backups for a limited period afterward, and messages you sent to other members may remain visible to them.

Your rights

You can access and update most of your information directly in the app. Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email the19thclubapp@gmail.com. We don't discriminate against anyone for exercising their privacy rights.

Children

The 19th Club is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
